The air conditioner can determine the location of people in the room and automatically deflect or direct the air flow towards the user. Automatic deflection of the air flow away from the user can be useful in cooling mode, when the direct flow seems too strong or cold. The use of a flat rectangular design required a more complex internal structure. When not in use, the air distribution system elements are completely retracted into the housing, reminiscent of the mechanization of a jet wing.
